Skyjacker produces 2.5", 4", 6" & 8" lift kits and systems for the 61-93 Dodge Ram pickup. The Softride springs manufactured by Skyjacker use tapered leaves to yield a lower spring rate and better travel, Teflon wear pads to help reduce interleaf friction, a "bolt" style clip to reduce leaf friction and shotpeening to compress the steel and increase its tensile strength. Notes: Kits use rear blocks and/or add-a-leafs. Systems use rear leaf springs. Longer brake lines required for 8" lift kit. Each double tapered leaf with Teflon pads was specifically engineered for each individual vehicle to provide the best ride possible. Rough Country's 4" lift kits include front leaf springs, polyurethane bushings, Dana 44 or Dana 60 steering block, and the option of rear blocks or leaf springs. Will not fit 1 Ton vehicles with diesel engine. Allows 35x12.50 tires. Shock boots sold separately. |

Superlift lift kits for the 1969-93 4WD Dodge Pickup - Superlift offers two styles of leaf springs to choose from. Standard springs yield a ride firmer than stock springs. These should be chosen for moderate to heavy-duty use when a winch, big block or diesel power plant is present, or if your rig is used for hauling/towing. With the Superide line, spring rate has been reduced as much as possible to emphasize suspension travel and a more compliant ride. The design elements can include thinner leaf material, tapered leafs and/or spring inserts. The Superlift 3.5" and 5" lift kits include either front Superide or Standard leaf springs with bushings & u-bolts. Kits use rear blocks and/or add-a-leafs. Systems use rear leaf springs. Shocks and boots sold separately. For the 5" kit, the CV cluster on the front driveshaft requires clearancing (grinding) to prevent binding. Part 4310 driveshaft spacer will restore full spline contact. |
