1983-97 4WD FORD RANGER SUSPENSION LIFT KITS

Note: any Ranger to be lifted 1.5-2" will have alignment problems unless the factory shims are at or near zero degrees. Verify what's on your truck prior to purchase. Otherwise, a minimum of 4" of lift will be required in order to achieve correct alignment. No lift will be achieved on vehicles with big block engines.

Rough Country Ranger lift kits

All Rough Country 4" lift kits for the 83-97 4WD Ford Ranger include front coils, all drop bracketry and a power steering pitman arm.Kits include rear blocks. Systems include rear leaf springs. Longer brake lines highly recommended. Does NOT fit 87-88 Rangers w/"High Rider STX" option.

Allows 33" tires with no rubbing or trimming of fender well. Shock boots not included.

Skyjacker's 4" & 6" Class I lift kits for the 83-97 4WD Ford Ranger include coil springs and all drop bracketry. Kits come with rear blocks and Systems come with rear leaf springs. 

1.5"-2" lift kit includes front coils and rear add-a-leaf. Factory shims must at or near 0 degrees for proper alignment.

The Class II 4" & 6" lift kits include a power steering pitman arm & replacement tubular offset radius arms extended 15" longer than stock offering up to 30% more wheel articulation and less frame fatigue than using radius drop brackets. Center hinge brackets are both stylish and more rugged than stock or standard applications.

Longer brake lines recommended for 4" lift kits and required for over 6" of lift. Shocks sold separately.

Tuff Country Ranger lift kits

83-97 4WD Ford Ranger Tuff Country Lift Kits . Standard lift kits include coil springs, axle pivot brackets (w/cam bolts), radius arm drop brackets, front sway bar drop brackets, front & rear brake line extensions, and a rear add-a-leaf and/or block kit.

Performance lift kits include coil springs, axle pivot brackets (w/cam bolts), extended radius arms (15" longer than stock), radius arm brackets, front sway bar drop brackets, front & rear brake line extensions, and a rear add-a-leaf and/or block kit. Gives better articulation, more ground clearance & sharper turning radius

Allows 31x10.50 tires. Shocks and pitman arm required and sold separately.

Superlift lift kits for the 83-97 4WD Ford Ranger. Standard kits utilize longer radius arm brackets that replace the stock pieces. The Superunner series replacement radius arms are considerably longer than stock offering caster correction and additional benefits. 

4" & 5.5" lift kits include front coils, pitman arm for power steering and all necessary drop bracketry or extended radius arms. Extended brake lines are sold separately and strongly recommended for 4" and required for 6" lifts. Kits come with rear blocks. Systems come with rear leaf springs.

Using the Superunner Steering Linkage in addition to the pitman arm lowers the pivot point of the tie rods close to the axle halves’ pivot point and allows the use of new tie rods that are proportional in length to the axle halves. The result is steering linkage that is in almost perfect phase with the suspension, yielding optimum steering response
