1998-09 4WD FORD RANGER SUSPENSION LIFT KITS |
The 1998-09 4WD Ford Ranger suspension consists of torsion bars & upper/lower control arms. The cast nodular iron knuckles are the system's key. These Rangers have an odd tulip-style drive shaft used for the front differential. These wear rapidly after the vehicle is lifted & cause vibration over time. Expect the front drive shaft to last no more than 20,000 miles after it's lifted. Superlift offers a heavy duty replacement front drive shaft. Superlift's 3"-4" lift kit retains factory ride equality, steering geometry & CV axle angles with increased wheel travel. New nodular iron knuckles, not ball joint spacers, load bearing bracketry made of .25" thick plate steel or heavy-wall tubing, full width differential/control arm crossmembers provide lateral rigidity and Superide shocks complete the package.
