Fabtech 6" lift kits for the 97-02 4WD Expedition

Fabtech's SLA (short long arm) systems use knuckle technology with high arch lower crossmembers to gain the proper altitude. One of the main design objectives of this system was to achieve a true six inches over stock ride height. Fabtech felt that adjusting the torsion bars up was not an option. They placed the bolt hole location a full six inches lower than stock and designed the rest of the system around this. This true 6" ride height increase allows the use of 305/70R16 tires, 16x8 wheels with 4-5/8" BS with minor trimming.

Will not work with factory full time 4WD models or factory 4 wheel air adjust suspension models. Some models may experience rear driveline vibration. Order FTS22008 should driveline vibration occur.

Rancho 4" lift kit for 97-02 4WD Expedition features precision machined, heavy-duty replacement cast steering knuckles for optimized steering geometry (no ball joint spacers). Fully welded cradle style sub-frame ensures structural integrity and durability. Heavy-duty torsion bar crossmember relocation brackets included. Shocks sold separately.

Includes heavy duty 2-piece lower sub-frame assembly, CNC machined, zinc plated billet steel sway bar links with oversize urethane bushings and Bilstein shocks. 

Notes: Models with 4R70W should call for fitment. Full time 4WD models may require front and/or rear drive line modifications.

Rise has designed a unique "Linear Slide Rack Support" system that helps isolate and remove the stress loads from the rack & pinion. This system allows the steering point on the spindle to remain in the stock location, thereby creating a factory type steering feel.
