2.5" Tuff Country lift kit for the 80-97 F250 includes front leaf packs that are added to the existing leaf springs, axle pivot brackets with adjustable cam-bolt, and rear add-a-leafs. 4" lift kit includes front EZ-ride leaf springs, track bar relocating brackets, sway bar end links, front & rear brake line extensions, rear blocks or leaf springs. 6" includes everything in the 4" lift plus a crossmember. Each double tapered leaf with Teflon pads was specifically engineered for each individual vehicle to provide the best ride possible. 80-97 Ford F250, F350 4" Rough Country lift kit include front leaf springs, polyurethane bushings, power steering pitman arm, I-beam drop brackets (80-98 F-250 Only), track bar drop bracket (82-98 F-350 Only), u-bolts, and a 3" rear block kit. Fits 35x12.50 tires with no rubbing or trimming of fender well. Shock boots not included. Extended sway-bar links are recommended. |

The Softride springs manufactured by Skyjacker use tapered leaves to yield a lower spring rate and better travel, Teflon wear pads to help reduce interleaf friction, a "bolt" style clip to reduce leaf friction and shotpeening to compress the steel and increase its tensile strength. Class I lift kits feature front leaf springs with two separate center hinge brackets. Pitman arm sold separately. Class II lift kits come with a boxed and reinforced 1-piece center hinge bracket and power steering pitman arm. Notes: Shocks sold separately. Kits use a rear block and/or add-a-leaf and Systems using rear leaf springs. Vehicles with Diesel engines or extra weight will require front fitted leaves. |

The 80-97 F250 and 80-85 F350 Ford trucks have a 2-piece Twin Traction Beam front axle with leaf springs. Heavier rated Superide springs are used for the Powerstroke diesel engines. The Superunner Steering System is included with the 6" lifts and offered separately for the 4" lifts. The Superunner Steering System should be compatible with most other name brand 4" & 6" lift systems. It reduces linkage angle and keeps the tie-rods arc of travel in phase with the axle halves arc of travel. The result is a lifted truck that steers better than a stock one in most cases! The pitman arm included in the kits is for power steering. Specify if you have manual. Kits use rear add-a-leafs or blocks. Systems use rear leaf springs. Shocks sold separately. |
