Explorer, Expedition Ford Body Lifts

Making the decision whether to install a body lift kit or a suspension lift kit on your Ford Explorer or Expedition is sometimes dictated by your budget. While body lift kits are typically more affordable initially, installation can sometimes offset this savings with the later model Fords. Older model Fords typically only required the body mounts be replaced with a possible steering extension addition. Later models often require installation of additional bracketry as well increasing the cost of the body lift kit and installation charges.

Installing a body lift kit on your Ford does not affect the factory ride quality and there is no need to purchase longer shocks. There is a cosmetic difference, however, as the frame is visible. This can be offset with the addition of GAP GUARDS that are inserted within the wheel wells.

Performance Accessories has been the nation's leading body lift kit manufacturer for 25 years. Performance Accessories body lift kits include the highest quality, laser cut, CNC machined steel components, steering extensions, shift adapters, body lift blocks, bushings and body mounts. All hardware is zinc plated and/or powder coated for corrosion protection. Complete installation instructions are included. Also available are urethane gap guards to fill the gap between the frame and the lifted body to give the consumer that completed OEM look.
