Skyjacker's Platinum
Series Coil-Over Conversion innovative upper mounting bracket design
allows the coil over to pivot or rotate smoothly through the whole
travel cycle. This eliminates the inherent problems of the other
"stem-style" shocks ... top shaft leverage that leads to
coil binds that could bend or even break the shaft.
The Platinum Series
Coil-Over is equipped with a 7075-aluminum alloy rod end fitted with
Teflon lined stainless spherical bearings to allow maximum wheel
travel without binding. Its big 2.5" threaded body allows ride
height adjustment plus an increased cooling surface to allow better
heat dispensation. Each Softride Coil spring is preset and formed from
5160H alloy ensuring higher tensile strength and longer lift.
