Add-a-leaf springs are designed to provide an additional 1.5" to 2" of height to your vehicle with leaf spring suspension. Including an add-a-leaf suspension will also increase your load capacity. The exact amount of lift will depend on the weight of the engine or other accessories that have been added such as a winch, heavy bumper or snow plow.

Add-a-leafs come in different lengths. A short add-a-leaf is simply added to the existing spring pack for both front and rear add-a-leaf suspension. A long add-a-leaf is inserted within the spring pack. While the addition of any leaf spring kit will firm up your ride, the longer add-a-leafs have the least impact on firmness.

Typically, longer u-bolts are not required. However, replacing older u-bolts is highly recommended.

When you need some extra help with towing or hauling heavy loads, air spring kits are designed to address these issues. Rough Country offers add-on air spring kits to ensure your trailer is level to keep the weight off the tongue of the trailer. Installation of the air springs and a towing leveling kit means you will experience less sway and bottoming out when braking and steering.

Air Spring Kits are available for both stock and lifted models. If you purchase an Air Spring kit for your stock truck, and later add a lift kit, spacers are available separately to accommodate the lift allowing you to retain the Air Spring Kit. Watch Rough Country's Air Spring Video.

Rear lift block kits include a pair of rear blocks with u-bolts and hardware. They are a simple way to raise the rear of your vehicle if your leaf springs have started to sag. Unlike an add-a-leaf, rear lift blocks will not adversely affect your ride quality.

If you use your vehicle for hauling or towing, the addition of a lift block kit will maintain the factory rake of your vehicle. If you don't find the combination you're looking for, lift blocks and U-bolts are sold individually for a custom application.

Lifted spindles for 2WD vehicles will remove the factory rake and allow for larger tires and wheels on your vehicle. The installation of a spindle suspension lift kit typically does not affect the factory ride. 2WD lift spindles are an excellent way to lift the front of your vehicle.

Sway bar parts perform a vital function minimizing sway and roll. Lifted vehicles benefit greatly with extended sway bar links as opposed to sway bar drop brackets. These extended end links and drop brackets return your sway bar back to its original angle.

Installation of a suspension lift kit will require the factory suspension track bar to either be relocated with track kits for trucks or replaced with an adjustable track bar kit. This will correct the geometry of the truck track bar brackets for better alignment and handling characteristics.

U-bolts for lifted truck leaf springs come in all shapes, widths and lengths. All leaf spring U-bolts are constructed using Grade 8 hardware and suspension U-bolts include nuts & washers.
