Torsion bar unloading tool required
Requires frame bracket modification and differential mount modification
Compression struts won't work with early '99 models with an "S" shaped transmission crossmember
If equipped with 17" stock wheels, 17" or larger aftermarket wheels must be used
Rear add-a-leaf kit ZONC6159 if slight factory rake preferred
Optional Add-a-leaf kit is recommended on Crew Cab models to acheive more level stance ZONC6159
Quick Overview
The Zone 6" lift kit for the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra was designed to perform. The main crossmembers constructed of 1/4" thick steel were designed to match the factory geometry with the new Zone CNC machined steering knuckles creating a true factory quality driving experience. Match this geometry with the heavy duty differential skid plate that locks the main crossmembers together and the compression struts that tie back to the frame and you have a system ready for some serious abuse! The 3-point differential mounting system correctly positions the differential so the factory driveshaft can be used. Also included are 4 FOX Adventure shocks. Built specifically for Zone Offroad lift kits, the Fox Adventure Series shocks feature a 2” OD steel body with a 5/8” heat treated hard chrome plated shaft that provides a comfortable street ride and predictable offroad handling under a variety of conditions. The Internal floating piston is designed to separate the shock oil from the nitrogen gas chamber. This monotube design eliminates oil aeration to provide performance that is fade free for your specific vehicle.
