Holding true to the use of only American steel, Skyjacker Softride leaf springs are an excellent for the Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon choice. Thinner leaf technology with shot-peening of each individual leaf compresses the surface of the steel thereby increasing the tensile strength to provide maximum wheel travel and ride quality without sacrificing the life of the spring. Softride springs use bolt-style spring clips, eliminating friction. To achieve this superior ride quality, Softride springs taper over the entire length of the leaf creating more flex at the leaf ends to distribute loads more evenly over a greater area.
