2006-08 Dodge Ram 1500 3.5" Combo Kit

Zone Offroad offers this 3.5" Combo Kit as an affordable option to run 35" tires on your Dodge Ram 1500. This combination includes the 2" Adventure Series Upper Control Arm lift kit with a 1.5" body lift. Installing a spacer leveling kit on your Dodge Ram 1500 can create problems if not done correctly. Zone has designed this leveling kit to address all the known issues on the 2006-2011 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks equipped with leveling kits. In order to maintain the integrity of the ball joint, the Zone 2.5" leveling includes replacement upper control arms that dwarf the factory arms and provide a larger range of motion with the new ball joint. The ball joint position is adjusted to keep it in a neutral position with 2" to 3" of lift. The upper control arms are used to prevent binding which occurs with the stock upper control arms after the addition of leveling spacers. The Zone upper control arms are fully welded and made from 1/8” steel and CNC-machined bushing and ball joint cups. They include OEM style rubber bushings for long, service-free life and to reduce noise, vibration and harshness. The greasable ball joint can easily be replaced should the need arise from almost any auto parts store. The included upper strut spacer is 1-3/16" thick and pitched to eliminate the chance of the strut rod rubbing on the factory upper isolator assembly (squeaking). A lot of aftermarket struts have larger diameter shafts that can cause this squeaking. No trimming of the factory strut mount studs is required due to the offset and rotated design that gives coil clearance to the frame. The Zone strut spacer limits droop to the maximum amount before the CV boot contacts the lower control arm and lower strut mount. Preload spacers are included to achieve a full 2.5" of front lift. The 2-1/8" differential drop fixes CV angles at ride height, eliminates "lobing" of the half shafts at full droop and fixes the driveline "shudder" prevalent on a majority of trucks with spacer kits. Why? Because the differential is attached directly to the motor mounts and moves with the motor. The differential rotates upward on the passenger side when the motor "torques". Combine this with the increased CV angle from the spacers (without a differential drop) and the CV will bind under load, potentially damaging the CV and causing driveline shudder. This Zone 1.5" body lift for the dodge Ram 1500 relocates the front and rear bumpers to maintain a factory look. The system also includes a rear bumper step support, ground strap extension, and new Grade 10.9 body bolts and all of the body mount spacers and bed supports. Designed for easy installation and long term performance. Zone crush Proof body lift blocks are capable of holding up to 60,000 lbs.
