Quick Overview
Worldwide use of the Toyota Land Cruiser speaks to this vehicle’s appeal to a wide variety of drivers in diverse terrains. While the 200 Series Land Cruiser has exceptional ride characteristics built in, an ICON suspension upgrade will drastically increase the ability to handle heavy use both on and off the road.
The 3.0 Series shocks exponentially increase bottom out resistance as the shock travels through the last 40% of travel. This feature keeps the Land Cruiser dynamics in check during hard hits or obstacles. They are adjustable to yield from 2.25” to 3.5” of front lift height to allow for a larger and more aggressive tire and wheel combination.
The multi-rate rear coil springs provide exceptional ride quality whether loaded or not. Aggressive drivers will certainly notice the second rate that helps reduce bottom-out. Rubber dampers on the coils reduce rate crossover noise or “coil slap”. The 10mm urethane spacer is included to correct lean commonly found in certain models.
The Delta Joint has repeatedly out-performed the traditional 1” uniball in industrial pullout tests. It’s capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint and is more robust due to the many improved features. Corrosion resistance is aided by a zinc plated housing and a tough grease seal aids in keeping harmful elements away from the inner workings of the joint. You get increased longevity and a noise-free operation. Internal friction is decreased with a carburized taper pin. This also further enhances corrosion resistance. The Delta Joint’s taper pin design is what allows the high angularity required to gain the most beneficial suspension geometry in a lifted vehicle.
Increase your off-road ride quality with the replacement Billet Aluminum lower rear trailing arms. They are constructed using 6061 CNC machined billet aluminum to be both light and strong. These arms are adjustable while on the truck using ICON’s pinch housing. Included are 16T Rod ends with a load rating over 40,000 lbs of pressure as well as a dual rate bushing on the axle side for excellent articulation with minimal deflection. A replaceable nylon rock slider is built into the design to prevent any trail hand-ups.
• Increased wheel travel and ride quality over stock
• Improved vehicle dynamics and decreased body roll
• Height adjustable coilovers provide 1.5-3.5" of lift height
• Billet Aluminum upper control arms with Delta joint
• ICON engineered dual rate rear coil springs
• Billet Aluminum lower rear trailing arms
• Front 3.0 Vehicle-specific tuned CDCV shocks with external reservoir
• Rear 2.5 Vehicle-specific tuned CDCV shocks with external reservoir
• The large adjuster knob provides 10 stops and allows the user to optimize the specific ride for all types of terrain.
• Corrosion resistant CAD plated shock bodies with 7/8" shafts
• Shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable
• Bolt-on design means no cutting or welding necessary for install
