The Rough Country 2.5" lift kit for the Jeep Wrangler YJ includes new front and rear leaf springs with bushings and u-bolts plus 4 V2 Monotube shocks. The Rough Country line incorporates "luxury ride" technology. Each double tapered leaf with Teflon pads was specifically engineered for each individual vehicle to provide the best ride possible.
V2 Monotube shocks have a T6061 brushed aluminum body with black anodized accents that not only look great but dissipate heat faster than other materials. The lightning fast reaction with no cavitation is the result of an internal floating piston to separate the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen. This true performance shock is designed to be mounted body-up for a more interesting look.
