Quick Overview
The Ford F450 and F550 10-lug trucks demand specialty parts when modifying the suspension. Fabtech has designed a lift kit with everything needed to convert to a 4 Link front suspension. This provides less caster change throughout travel for improved street driving. Ten years of experience providing commercial and military applications makes Fabtech the right choice for these large trucks.
The Dirt Logic 4.0 Coilovers are bolted in with simple, super stout 1/4" thick steel brackets that utilize the factory coil bucket. These have a massive 4" diameter stainless steel body with 1.25 NitroSteel piston rod to handle the most aggressive driving conditions. American made coil springs are designed to handle the weight of the F450 and F550 while providing a superior ride quality. When driving at high speeds over extreme terrain the remote aluminum reservoir will dissipate heat for continuous damping.
The link arms are 2" OD heavy wall with 1/4" thick steel brackets at the axle with adjustable alignment cams. Fabtech 5 Ton Joints pivot at the frame. For over 10 years, these joints have been proven in rugged military use. They are both quiet and strong! The 4 Link Arms attach to stout 1/4” thick steel frame brackets for a solid mounting of the new suspension. The geometry of the 4 Link arms and frame brackets has been designed to provide an improved highway ride due to reduced caster change and able to tackle rough offroad conditions better than a Radius Arm suspension.
The coil springs are made in America and provide an additional 2" of wheel travel over stock. The factory long travel steering stabilizer is retained with the use of a bracket and support brace to reduce tire shimmy. Dirt Logic 2.25 shock bodies have high grade 304 Stainless Steel construction for maximum resistance to corrosion. A finely detailed machine finish to the shock body provides a stunning appearance. The piston rod is a NitroSteel® material for superior corrosion resistance over chromed piston rods. These are the best designed and performing take apart shocks you can buy and will outlast any other take apart shock on the market
